Humboldt Park Residence (HPR) is a studio unit building. HPR features resident services, and rooms are fully furnished. LUCHA closed on HPR in September 1994 and soon after broke ground with Mayor Richard M. Daley in attendance. Built over the course of 1994 and 1995, the building serves a vital population of previously homeless or low-income individuals.

With the loss of many SRO units throughout the city and encroaching gentrification from the east, HPR serves a critical need in Humboldt Park. HPR was recently rehabbed, with construction being completed in Spring 2022.
