Misuzu Schexnider, Director
Misuzu Schexnider serves as the associate program officer for Generation All and is responsible for cultivating relationships with external partners and advancing Generation All’s policy & advocacy agenda. Misuzu received her master’s in public policy in 2015 from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago after teaching for five years in North Lawndale on Chicago’s west side. There, she co-led a grade-level team of teachers to create and implement inquiry-based, interdisciplinary research projects as part of a school-wide initiative to improve academic rigor. Misuzu also taught high school English in Naperville, IL., and she received her Bachelors of Arts in English and Secondary Education from Northwestern University. Misuzu lives on the border of Humboldt Park and Logan Square with her husband and beagle. She sits on the community advisory board of WBEZ, enjoys every form of dance, and teaches yoga in her spare time.
