LUCHA provides quality affordable apartments to responsible low-income individuals and families. The apartments are bright, spacious and close to transportation in the Humboldt Park and West Town communities.

Come into LUCHA’s office at 3541 W. North Ave. to apply.  The property management department will meet with you and answer any questions.  Section 8 voucher holders are welcome to apply.

Available Apartments

Borinquen Bella Apartments consists of four courtyard walk-up style apartment buildings. All of the units are newly rehabilitated with new kitchens, bathrooms and large bedrooms. The units are also washer and dryer ready and have secure intercom access.

Humboldt Park Residence (HPR) is a Single Room Occupancy building for at-risk and formerly homeless individuals.  The apartments are furnished with a bed, dresser, table, chairs and a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator.  Bathrooms are situated between two suites, and are shared between two tenants.

Madres Unidas (Mothers United) Apartments consists of ten 3-flat buildings and one 6 flat building.  The buildings were constructed in 2006 and are modern and spacious with wall to wall carpeting and parking behind the unit. The apartments also feature a hook-up for a washer and dryer.
